⦁ grants to conquer foreign markets,
⦁ de minimis guarantee,
⦁ Local Action groups,
⦁ Venture Capital funds,

Funding from a state or a private investor?
Funding for companies can be divided into two sources: public and private. Money for funding from the state (including the Union) is based on the imposition of taxes on people living in Europe. Then hundreds of thousands of officials and intermediaries charge a commission from the money looted and the rest will distribute to the selected targets.
Private funding is a complete inverse of the state. It involves the voluntary investment of own capital by investors who see the development potential of the project. The number of state funding offers is inversely proportional to their effectiveness, which does not necessarily have you – as a beneficiary, worry. The advantages and disadvantages of each of these sources are read in the article.
Funding for companies from the Labour Office
Subsidies from the Labour Office are intended for people who intend to open the company. For companies already existing offices have two programs in their offer. If they were not, then in the age of the Internet and private job intermediaries, hardly anyone would be looking for an employee by office.
Retrofitting or creation of a workplace
As you develop your business, you may find it worthwhile to expand your business and offer new products. For example, a restaurant with homemade dinners would like to start serving pizza. For this, you need not only a new employee, but also a furnace, worktop and other equipment. With the help comes the labor office, which will give you money to create a workplace (purchase of equipment, etc.) for a new employee. The required period of employment and maintenance of created workstations shall be at least 2 years. The maximum amount you can try to equip 1 workstation must not exceed 6 times the average salary, i.e. 25.324, 14 z[stan na listopad 2017]ł.
To receive a refund, submit a request to the district employment office. The competent authority is the one in which the city you are established or in which the unemployed person will be working. You must submit an application for reimbursement of the cost of equipment or retrofitting work before you hire an unemployed person. The schedule looks like this:
⦁ you apply in UP,
⦁ you sign a contract with the office,
⦁ you make purchases,
⦁ you employ unemployed person from office.
Internship with the labor office
In this case, you will not get money from the office but only the employee. It’s up To you To ask for it. For his work for your business you will not pay a penny, pay it to the office. The internship is usually from 3 to 9 months, depending on how you type in the requests and how much the official agrees. To apply for the next trainee, you need to increase the employment of the company by one employee. An employed person does not have to be that trainee. Read more about the internship in this article.

With the de minimis guarantee, you can get your credit or credit line in commercial banks faster and cheaper. LGD Funding – Local action groups
Local action groups are associations or foundations operating in rural areas. After a positive verification by the State, they can apply for funding from the Rural Development Programme (one of the EU programmes). Such a group of activities shall be composed of representatives of the public, private and non-governmental sectors. The subsidy amount from the RDP programme is up to 300.000 zł and the co-financing rate is 70%.
If you run a company in the countryside, the rural development Program is for you. Grants for companies can be obtained in local action groups, which operate most often in several neighbouring municipalities. Before you proceed, remember that you must sign up for a local strategy, as determined by the lag. For local action groups ask your municipality office or search the website WWW.KSOW.PL/LEADER/BAZA-LGD
Local loan Fund
In the framework of the “Local Government of Poland” program, some cities in Poland have decided to start a local loan fund. As part of the local loan fund, traders can strive for low-interest loans, such as For investments, the purchase of machinery and equipment, materials and raw materials for production and services, the creation of new jobs or the implementation of new technologies. Loans are granted by municipalities or companies established by officials of several cities, such as Local Development Agency S.A. From Sosnowiec.
Sample offer of the local loan fund in Silesia:
Maximum Loan amount 120.000, 00 zł
Annual interest rate 4.43%
One-time commission 2-3%
A rotating or investment target
Repayment period up to 5 years
The withdrawal to 6 months
Minimum own contribution 20%
Local loan funds have created many municipalities, M.in., Przemyśl, Włocławek, Dębica, Nisko, Bystrzyca Kłodzka and Rydułtowy. Unfortunately, there is no list of all municipalities in the network, so it remains to “wygooglować” such information or ask in its branch office.
The European Union has also donated money to banks and financial institutions. Thanks to the Cosme program, traders can apply for loans, loans and leasing on preferential terms. This type of offer is available in 10 banks. Just ask for credits from the so-called. The PLG-Cosme or Easi guarantee (for Nest Bank).
The offer of preferential financing is available to start-ups, self-employed and micro-entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises from all industries, and large companies.
Co-financing for companies from the COSME programme can be used for investments and working capital. The benefits of Cosme include:

To learn more about credit and leasing with Cosme, ask in one of the banks: Alior Bank, Idea Bank, Bank bgż, Pekao SA, Boś Bank, bank Zachodni WBK, Deutsche Bank, MBank, Pko BP, Bank BPS, Nest Bank.
Co-financing for EU companies under the RPO
EU programmes are simplified in national and regional terms. RPO are regional operational programmes created by central planners. The regional operational Programme operates in each of the 16 provinces. Co-financing for companies includes several actions that you can take into account when trying for grants. Some of these activities are reproduced with those described in the “Parp grant” section. The difference is that the ones are nationwide and the regional ones. Try to make you both one and the other. What you can get funding for:
Funding for research programmes
As part of the regional programme in your province, you can get funding for your company to carry out research and development, research infrastructures and implement innovation.
The EU is giving big money for activities related to the broadly understood computerisation. You can get funding from the e-Service portal, the development of electronic commerce and the development of B2B (business-to-business) solutions. You can allocate EU funds to the introduction of electronic systems for company management or to build customer relationships.
Money for Ecological Solutions
Ecology is the second most subsidized plane after computerization. You can allocate funds to the thermal renovation of the company’s buildings, the introduction of energy-efficient technologies or the reconstruction of the production line. Installation of solar panels, modernization of heating and ventilation also fit into this operation. If you are planning a larger business, you can apply for funding for the creation of wind, solar, geothermal and biomass plants.
Grants to conquer foreign markets
When planning to leave the offer outside of Poland and conquer foreign markets, money is needed. For this purpose, you can try to make money from this program. From product customization to business advertising to international fairs. Regional operational programmes shall organise competitions in this area. This is one of those programs that I personally recommend you. Often Polish companies can develop only after offering the product to consumers in other countries.
Funding for business development
In seeking EU funding, you need to know that it will be the basis for innovative action. If you want to expand your business and acquire resources to purchase additional equipment, you need a good justification. Good justification means describing the investment so that it is (or feels) as innovative as possible. It’s not about discovering America. It is enough to offer a product that will raise the level of living of the population and be distinguished in your company as well as among competitors.
Educational Vouchers for staff training
Funding for companies does not have to take the form of cash. The EU introduced the so-called Educational vouchers for which you can purchase your training staff. This is to indicate the field in which your employees should be trained and the training establishments should adapt to it. The database of training companies and their proposed courses can be found on the website www.uslugirozwojowe.parp.gov.pl
I wrote in a separate article on how to apply for a subsidy from the European Union. Currently, EU funding operates on the basis of low-interest loans and loans, though they happen and are non-refundable.
Current competitions for companies for all the aforementioned activities can be found on the European Funds portal, in the provincial labour offices and in the Marshal office.
Venture Capital and Private Equity funds
Venture Capital (VC) is a free cash fund for private investors that have been donated to a grant for companies. Grants are distributed by funds. The financial possibilities of Venture Capital funds are greater than individual business angels. The funds are not intended to be redeemed by the company but usually cover up to 50% of the shares.
The Venture Capital Fund is therefore nothing more than investing in innovative companies in the early stages of growth in exchange for shares. The investment time is usually estimated at 3-7 years and the companies that have a high rate of return are taken into account. The advantage of Venture vapital in addition to the known financial support is also the support of mentors. Investors who enter your business have a tremendous experience in building businesses. Being on board will surely share your comments and support in deciding and spending money.
It happens that funds also receive money from the state. This makes them able to invest in risky projects. Business Angels putting their capital are trying to select companies more cautionary. Co-financing for VC companies is better than EU money for several reasons. Money is not borrowed to you, but it is an authentic contribution of investors, so they are the company’s own money. You don’t have to donate or pay interest. When the business does not come out, nobody will pull you into financial responsibility. The unquestionable disadvantage is the loss of Omnipower in the company. From the moment you enter another shareholder, you have to count your opinion.
To acquire funds from Venture Capital it is necessary to write a business plan, and sometimes a “due dilligance” study order, which is very costly. However, this second option is only required for large companies. In an effort to make money with VC it is worth showing that we already have customers on our products, and the capital increase will significantly improve the financial results. VC funds can be found on the website of the Polish Capital Investor Association: Www.psik.org.pl/pl/czlonkostwo/fundusze
Private Equity creates more financial opportunities than venture Capital funds. They are targeted at companies that have already reached a large ceiling. Very big money is at stake. If you plan to sell your business or most of the shares then this is a good clue.
Entrepreneurs who succeed in business and have free capital are willing to support a financially prospective company. Such people are more and more in Poland. This is done on the principle of taking part in your company’s shares, usually up to 50%. By finding such an angel you gain not only funds for business development, but also advisory support from the person who has achieved success. The support rules are similar to those outlined in the Venture Capital fund.
The list of 16 most famous Polish business angels has prepared the portal mamstartup: link. You can also search for business partners on the Facebook group “startups talks”, where you can meet many well-known investors.
Crowdfunding is a Community funding, popular with people who have an idea and collect money to realize. With the company and creating a new product you can apply for support through portals such as Polakcan, wspieram.to or foreign Kickstarter. Most importantly, it set a real cost estimate and well describe the project. With crowdfunding, you can earn customers and free advertising in addition to your money. Funding for companies through crowdfunding portals is becoming increasingly popular in Poland.
Issuance of shares
To earn capital for new investments, you can broadcast the shares. Funding for the company through the issuance of shares is one of the most widely used ways to acquire capital. The purchaser of the action becomes the co-owner of the company at the level of the shares. Thus, the issuance of shares is different from the issuance of bonds, that the emissary does not have to return the money invested in the company by the buyer, but at the same time allows this investor to co-decide the future of the company
Entities that can emit shares are stock companies and limited partnership companies. The shares issued may be marketed on the Newconnect market or on the main dance floor of the Stock Exchange (WSE). The costs of issuing shares are related to expenditure on:
⦁ change of the company’s contract (notional costs, tax on civil law activities, court fees),
⦁ preparation of the documents necessary for the issuance of shares and their comprehensive examination,
⦁ advisory services, legal and statutory auditors,
⦁ to intermediary banks or to guarantee the public issuance of shares and brokerage offices,
⦁ drawing up a prospectus,
⦁ costs of advertising and promotional campaigns,
⦁ related to the formal entry on the stock exchange.
It is therefore an expensive process, which is why it is available to major companies. As part of the support of PAPR there is a program called 4stock, which helps in obtaining money to pay for part of the cost.
Issuance of bonds
Issuance of bonds (securities) is an alternative to bank loans. A bond is a securities that certify that a buyer has granted you a loan under certain conditions and you commit to fulfill it. This is about paying interest in the amount you have determined and returning the capital over time that you have also determined. The bonds are different from the shares that the holder does not become the owner of the company.
Bonds may issue companies with commercial law (e.g. Joint-stock company, Spółka Z O.O., Limited Partnership), which carry out business activities. The issuance of bonds on the Catalyst market in Poland entails some costs. One of the EU-4stock programmes described in the “Parp Grant” section helps entrepreneurs enter the Catalyst market.
At the company’s co-financing, there is no way to mention non-cash loans. It is a financial product aimed at traders who, due to their credit histories, debt or simply restrictive policy banks can not get a bank loan. Such loans for companies oscillating from 1.000 to 100.000 zł. As with any such product, it is necessary to take into account the costs and the high penalties in the event of non-repayment on time. Parabanki that offer loans to companies:
⦁ Bancovo – We will check for you in 15 minutes offer of all banks and Parabanków,
⦁ Aasa – up to 10000 zł
